Improved safety environment with the HSEQ management app
You know GSV from Denmark's motorways, bridges, and backyards. As the country's leading equipment lessor, GSV helps with construction projects of all sizes and scopes, which place demands on safety, quality, and working environment. With a desire for an automated process and a transparent and efficient collection of HSEQ data from employees, we started designing an agile solution for GSV.

- We must constantly be aware of safety and risks in our work to adapt and maintain our high level of quality. Our old system for reporting deviations and risk observations was based on emails, and therefore, it worked completely manually. It was a slow process, where three to four colleagues were involved in each action. It was simply too vague, according to Kenny Bjerre Petersen, Process Consultant at GSV.
- The entire process had to be concretized, and the quality level had to be raised. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for the individual employee to report observations for us to measure our data and translate it into strategic decisions.
FEWER HOURS AND INCREASED EFFICIENCY
- We started by looking at existing HSEQ systems out in the market, but they were very expensive and did not allow us to adapt the solution to our needs. When RelateIT talked about the Microsoft Power Platform and the benefits of choosing a Power App, it turned into a pretty quick decision. RelateIT was able to deliver exactly what we needed, and we had the opportunity to customize the solution completely to our own business, Kenny says.
- We have been live with the HSEQ management app since March 2020, and more than half of our employees use it on a daily basis with great pleasure. We receive ideas on a regular basis for customizations, and with Power Apps, almost anything is possible. When I call RelateIT with a new idea, it won't be long before it's done.
