RelateIT becomes part of the IT company twoday

In a changing time and an industry in full development, RelateIT’s ownership has raised the question of who can best help carry on the company’s visions and ensure the best possible future for our employees, customers, and partners. We are proud of our DNA, culture, values, and business, and we have taken great care in finding the owner who will assist us on our journey.

Therefore, we are pleased and proud to announce that we are becoming part of the IT company twoday. Since 2013, RelateIT has been owned by the oil and shipping company Monjasa.

As part of twoday, we gain the opportunity to offer our customers an even broader range of IT solutions than before while maintaining our focus on Microsoft Business Central as our core business. We believe that in the future, we will be better positioned to handle the ever-changing challenges in the IT industry, allowing us to continue meeting our customers’ needs and our employees’ desires for development.

From both sides, the joy is great. Lars Berthelsen, CEO of twoday Denmark, says:

“I am incredibly pleased that RelateIT has chosen to become part of twoday. We know them very well and have collaborated with various clients. We acknowledge them for their professionalism, deep expertise, integrity, and as a company that shares many of the same values, we emphasize in twoday.

who is twoday?

twoday is a Nordic IT company that was sold out of the Visma Group in the fall of 2022 to focus on consultant-centric companies with an emphasis on delivering digital transformation and business-critical IT solutions.

twoday is a leading provider of IT services focusing on digital transformation throughout the Nordic region, delivering business-critical technology and data-driven solutions to more than 8,000 customers in both the public and private sectors.

In Denmark, twoday covers the companies twoday Co3, twoday kapacity, twoday IT Minds, twoday Two-Many, twoday A/S, twoday CTGlobal, Tabular Editor and now also RelateIT, which enters the group as the first ERP supplier.

The future of RelateIT

At RelateIT, we keep doing what we do best. As a customer, you will gain access to an even larger pool of specialists in new areas, allowing your business to develop across various technological domains surrounding your Business Central. This is something we much look forward to.

Managing Director & Partner in RelateIT, Simon Berthelsen, says:

With twoday, we can create synergies across companies and solutions. Synergies that can provide the additional growth we need to advance in the market. Our customers see IT as a larger whole and want more than only ERP solutions. Our knowledge and existing collaboration with twoday kapacity, twoday Two-Many, and twoday Co3 increase our possibilities to become an even stronger partner for our customers. Additionally, twoday’s acquisition of RelateIT offers us a chance to be more visible in the public market. There is a lot of business in the public sector within ERP, and there are few players in that market. The twoday companies are significant here, which gives us the advantage of bidding together with twoday,”

Simon Berthelsen, Managing Director & Partner in RelateIT

Managing Partner at RelateIT, Carsten Andersen, agrees:

Constant changes in the market require us, as a supplier, to become more agile and respond very quickly. Among other things, in terms of offering customers different technologies. Today, it’s not enough to have just one system. It has become outdated to do everything in ERP. Many want applications and constantly find the best solutions for the specific case.”

Carsten Andersen, Managing Partner in RelateIT

We look forward to an exciting future with twoday, where we will continue delivering value to our customers, develop innovative solutions and maintain the good relationship and cooperation we have built over the years. We are still the same RelateIT but in an improved version.

*The acquision of RelateIT is subject to approval from The Danish Competition Authority, expected to be completed in August 2023.
