Væksthuset

Væksthuset is a social enterprise that works with vulnerable unemployed people. They have nine departments around the country and over 150 employees. In cooperation with job centers, they arrange activation courses and various initiatives in municipalities across Denmark.

With several citizen courses and several cases in progress simultaneously, it inevitably places demands on manageable work processes and, not least, GDPR-secured data storage. This required a new ERP system for Væksthuset, which could be adapted to their needs. The choice fell on Business Central Cloud with twoday RelateIT as a partner.

- When it comes to an ERP system, it is, of course, important that we get a good overview of where we stand financially. We've always had that, but in a different way than we have today. It's been through different systems and a lot of spreadsheets, and it requires a lot of manual work. For a long time the desire has been to get a system that could do a little more. Now, we have something that can actually help us make project forecasts as well as follow-ups and reporting to the board. It certainly provides an increased value, Jens Højlund, CEO of Væksthuset says.

For Karina Wallstrøm, Administrative Assistant at Væksthuset, it was also important to get a system that actually makes the workday easier

- It has to be user-friendly and easy to go to. You don't need eight different manuals lying around to navigate. In addition, it was important to us that the size of the system fits the size of Væksthuset so that we do not have a system that is too advanced in relation to what we actually need. Workdays should become easier. That has to be the most important thing.

Væksthuset came from an older system that they have used for 16 years. It was simply time to say goodbye to manual tasks and double work and welcome intuitive and customized solutions.

- We almost started from scratch and came from an old C5 system. We wanted to get away from the Excel sheets and manual processes that there were in C5. We reached out to an external consultant to help us find the right system and the right IT partner. Based on our needs and size, he quickly proposed Business Central Cloud and actually also arranged the tender with three different partners, says Michael Silfwander, Head of Administration at Væksthuset.

- It was, without a doubt, twoday RelateIT that we liked the most. They prepared the ground for personal service,. and a lot of the right things were said. We all agreed on that.

There was generally good collaboration during the implementation phase, and they really listened to our needs. For example, we have an integration that can handle our cases – our citizen courses. So we can do a lot now from one system – and then it just works absolutely impeccably, Karina Wallstrøm elaborates.

With Business Central Cloud, Væksthuset has also secured itself in relation to the storage of sensitive data and agreements. Everything is stored securely in the cloud, and Væksthuset does not have to worry about GDPR compliance – Microsoft manages that.
